Highlands College are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the Preparatory Learning Department. The successful candidate will join a team that motivates and inspires learners ranging from Entry 1 to Level 1.
The appointed lecturer would ideally have experience working with young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) and special educational needs (SEND). Specific roles will involve planning, teaching and assessing a range of subjects, as well as fulfilling the role of a personal tutor. As well as this, being able to deliver a practical subject in a vocational area is highly desirable.
Those without a formal teaching qualification will work towards this as part of their development whilst in post. For any further information, please contact Stephen McGinness, Head of Preparatory Learning on 01534 608636 or stephen.mcginness@highlands.ac.uk.
