Jersey Fleet Management has vacancies for both a permanent and temporary Vehicle Technician. The job covers the full range of transport and plant, from lightweight petrol engine cars to heavy earth moving excavators, along with a large variety of other specialist vehicles. Applicants must be able to diagnose faults, maintain, repair, re-build and test motor vehicles, light/heavy plant and mechanical equipment. This work is to be carried out in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations to ensure safety, reliability and cost effectiveness. The successful candidates will have completed a 4 year technician apprenticeship, have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience, HGV licence is required but not essential at time of application.
