The Deputy Director – International Tax is responsible for acting as one of Jersey’s competent authorities with respect to its international tax agreements. Working closely with the Director – International Tax and senior officers of the Chief Minister’s Department, the Deputy Director plays a leading role in assisting with negotiating international tax agreements, implementing related tax strategy and delivering sensitive operations arising from them, including working closely with the Law Officers’ Department and the island’s financial advisers to respond appropriately to requests for information received from other jurisdictions. You must hold a degree and a qualification as a tax adviser (CTA, ADIT), accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA) or equivalent.
