The Chief Minister is seeking to appoint a chair, vice-chair and at least two members for the Charity Tribunal with effect from 1st May 2018.
The Tribunal is an independent body, established by the Charities (Jersey) Law 2014 (the Law), responsible for hearing and determining appeals in relation to decisions of the Charity Commissioner.
These are very rewarding opportunities for anyone who wishes to play a part in ensuring that the appeals are conducted in a thorough and independent manner. Applicants must be of good character and integrity and the appointments are subject to references and criminal record checks. Applicants are invited to say whether they wish to be considered for the chair, vice-chair and/or member roles.
