Due to retirement, Mont Nicolle School is seeking to appoint an on-site Caretaker to join our caring, hard-working team. Good communication skills and an eagerness to work in a school environment are essential. A key part of the role is to overseeing and managing contractors, and to ensure site safety and security. A good working knowledge of Health and Safety will be important to this role, although where needed, training will be provided. In addition, the Caretaker’s role will also require skill in completing basic DIY type tasks, such as painting and decorating.
We have a family sized Caretaker’s house on site (payable monthly rental arrangement) and it is essential that the successful candidate will live in this.
