The Law Officers’ Department is seeking to recruit an experienced lawyer (+5 years experience) to join the Legislation Team.
The post will offer a unique opportunity to be involved in the development of new legislation, with particular emphasis on financial services legislation, of major economic benefit for the Island.
The legal adviser we are looking to recruit would be someone with expertise in the area of financial services legislation. However, a broad experience in law is also required. Experience of government legal service, in particular in relation to work with new legislation would be an added advantage, as would experience of project management.
The post is for an initial five year contract.
