We are seeking an experienced senior infection prevention and control nurse to lead our dynamic island wide IPAC Team. As a senior nurse reporting directly to Jersey's Chief Nurse you will be responsible for the co-ordination and development of an island wide infection prevention and control strategy and service. Working closely with the Consultant in Communicable Disease and Director of Infection Prevention and Control you will be responsible for a team of 6 clinical staff to provide a comprehensive infection prevention and control service which also covers occupational screening of clinical staff, the flu vaccination programme, staff immunisation and MRSA clinics. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to work at a strategic level and make a difference across an entire health economy. As the role spans the island would need to have a driving license and access to a car.
