Working with the Head of Group Reporting, the Group Reporting Accountant will lead a team that will be responsible for developing and implementing best practice group reporting across the Government of Jersey. The focus of the role will be on two areas:
(1) The preparation and presentation of the statutory financial accounts for the States of Jersey, including the consolidation of ALOs. The role will not only ensure the accounts are produced in accordance with best practice and accounting standards, but that these are prepared in an efficient way, and reported in a way that Assembly Members and Islanders can understand.
(2) The preparation and presentation of the group management accounts.
