Crisis Worker at States of Jersey

The Crisis Worker will be responsible for providing 'out of hours' cover to the SARC. They will primarily provide emergency assistance through the night and weekends but there is also opportunities to support day shifts within SARC. The main purpose of this role is to ensure the right support is available to victims of sexual assault whatever is required. Depending of the circumstances assistance may involve assisting in the gathering of non intimate evidence Within a month, a Crisis Worker will be allocated between 7-9 shifts per month. For each shift covered a Crisis Worker will be paid a £30 retainer fee to be on call. Should the Crisis Worker get called out into the SARC, a claim can be made per hour at Grade 7. There will be additional shifts between Monday- Friday 08.00-16:00 to cover annual leave and for training purposes. Please contact Laura Osmand on 01534448237.
