The Channel Islands are establishing a wholly new ombudsman service to consider customer complaints about financial services. The Office of the Financial Services Ombudsman (OFSO) will be an independent statutory body with powers to investigate, determine complaints and make awards.
Time commitment is anticipated at 2 days p.c.m. and a fee of £24,000 will be payable per annum. OFSO will be located in Jersey.
