As a Health Care Assistant working in Older People's Mental Health Services at Sandybrook and The Hollies Day Centres the purpose of the job is to provide care and or activities for clients who have complex Mental Health problems/illness as part of a multidisciplinary or stand alone care plan, enabling the client to continue living in the community. These individuals are elderly and may have a diagnosis of progressive dementia and or enduring Mental Health problems which include psychosis, depression and chronic anxiety. Most of these individuals have associated physical health problems.
