Clinical Coder at States of Jersey

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Clinical Coding team at Jersey General Hospital. Clinical Coding is the translation of a patient’s medical record, as written by the clinician, into a coded format. Accuracy, attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to interact well with staff at all levels are fundamental requirements. Previous experience of medical terminology would be advantageous, but not essential, as would an understanding of anatomy and physiology.
