Applications are invited from Staff Nurses to apply for a Breast Care Nurse Specialist development post. The successful applicant will be a 1st level Registered Nurse with 2 years’ post qualifying experience who holds a specific interest in breast care. Experience of breast cancer, treatment and/or surgery is essential. The applicant would be required to successfully complete an agreed development pathway before promotion to Specialist Nurse and demonstrate commitment to achieve a teaching/mentorship award, post qualifying award in breast care and family history training.
