Sister/Charge Nurse - MASH at States of Jersey
This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to gain further experience in safeguarding children in Jersey. The postholder will be a key member of HSSDs Health Safeguarding Team and will be the main link for the team to the Jersey MASH. Based in St Helier in the MASH the post holder will be working as part of a co-located, dynamic multi-agency integrated team assessing referrals and determining action concerning children 0-18. Supported by a health researcher the post holder will work closely with the Paediatric Liaison Health Visitor, also based in MASH part -time. The post holder must be enthusiastic about collaborative working , experienced in children's safeguarding practice, a good communicator and one who is able to develop and build positive relationships across the health economy to improve the interface with MASH.

Biomedical Scientist at States of Jersey
We are seeking a qualified, experienced biomedical scientist wanting to do multi-disciplinary shift work. The repertoire includes haematology and transfusion, biochemistry and basic microbiology.
There is a significant amount of lone working. The island location means that you will ideally be proficient in red cell serology, although training will be provided as necessary. The ideal qualification is the new multi-disciplinary ISMS diploma, or alternatively an ISMS specialist diploma in a relevant discipline or older equivalent qualification.
There has recently been significant investment in new equipment. The main instrumentation is Sysmex XN, IL coagulation and Ortho Clinical biochemistry and transfusion.
