Locum Consultant in Haematology at States of Jersey
We are looking for a motivated Consultant Haematologist. This is a new post that has arisen due to the increasing workload in haematology and is designed to support the existing post holder pending the recruitment of a permanent colleague.
The post holder will work alongside the one other whole time consultant in haematology to provide a comprehensive, efficient and high quality clinical and laboratory haematology service, including malignant haematology and blood transfusion. This will be the key working relationship and it is expected that the overall workload will be distributed evenly. The two post holders may take the lead in different areas by mutual agreement and are expected to cover each other in all areas of haematology. The two post-holders will coordinate their leave so that both are not away at the same time.
