Locum Consultant - Haematology and Blood Transfusion at States of Jersey

We are looking for an experienced and motivated colleague willing to join our team as a Consultant in Haematology and Blood Transfusion in Jersey General Hospital. The post is initially available on a locum/fixed term basis for 6 – 12 months pending a substantive appointment. This is a post to cover the duties of the current retiring consultant in a wide variety of haematological disorders. The post holder would be required to have experience as a consultant in similar setting and have led service improvements in those settings. He/she would have experience in leading Blood Transfusion and Diagnostic Haematology/ Blood sciences services. Currently there is no on call commitment associated with this post. Train patients, families and carers in caring for feeding tubes and tube sites Assess and troubleshoot in tubes and tube sites problems Telephone reviews of patients.
