The Crisis Worker will be responsible for providing 'out of hours' cover to the SARC and will primarily provide emergency assistance through the night and weekends. The main purpose of this role is to ensure the right support is available to victims of sexual assault whatever is required. This may or may not involve Police investigation but will typically require emotional and practical help at a critical time. Crisis Worker is required to be flexible with availability and able to commit to working as part of a team ensuring 24 hour cover is provided for SARC. The post holder must be flexible and available during working day hours to support paediatric forensic and wellbeing medical examinations in addition to providing "out of hours" cover.

Our role is to undertake patient testing via a swab or serology test. We provide basic advice and guidance and support the public with their concerns on testing. Full training will be provided, and you will have excellent clinical support from onsite managers and clinical leads. You will need basic IT skills as we use computerised systems. The post-holder will manage the workload and performance of a team of Court Enforcement Officers; plan and co-ordinate the enforcement of Court orders (civil and criminal) and service of documents; personally execute complex Court orders, such as seizure of assets and injunctions; and generally deputise for the Principal Enforcement Officer as required, to ensure that the Court enforcement services is efficiently and reliably maintained.
