We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our team of Biomedical Science Assistants in the Blood Science Laboratories. The post is full time 37 hours a week, applicants should have an interest in science and ideally have previous experience in working in a clinical laboratory.
As a member of the Blood Sciences team you will be working across Clinical Chemistry, Haematology, Blood Transfusion and Pathology Reception assisting the Biomedical Scientists in the preparation and processing of patient specimens. The main duties include sorting and processing of specimens, data entry, packaging of specimens for off island referral, basic operation of scientific equipment, general housekeeping and administration. You must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, have a mature conscientious attitude and possess excellent communication and IT skills.

Resuscitation Technician at States of Jersey
Exciting opportunity to join the Health and Community Resuscitation service. This is a technical role supporting the resuscitation service working with resuscitation officers based at the General hospital .
You will be required to deliver basic life support training as part of the resuscitation service and provide ongoing support with technical aspects of teaching aids, skills trainer manikins and all clinical simulation equipment, and act as a key person in terms of liaison, advice, training and support to end-user.
