Staff Grade in General Surgery
To commence Feb 2019 for 1 year
Gross basic salary: £44,888 - £81,951 (dependent on experience)
16 PAs and 6% on call availability supplement
Total 16 PA salary including on call and 6% intensity supplement: £74,514 - £136,038
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Grade doctor to join a surgical team consisting of three Consultants, two Associate Specialists, 2 Staff Grades (including this post) and four Junior Doctors (3 FY2s and 1 FY2). Duties will include General Surgical 1:4 on-call, operating lists, outpatient clinics and day-to-day care of in-patients. While most of the work is general surgery you will have the opportunity to take part in minimally invasive colorectal surgery with state of the art systems lead by an EBSQ qualified consultant, reconstructive breast surgery, and advanced vascular surgery.
