The Alternative Provision Support Service (APSS), educates students with a range of social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. The APSS service is a provision for KS2 – 4 students who may be placed on a short stay placement or have a record of need which recommends their educational needs require additional support outside of mainstream education. Due to the restructuring of the APSS service, to a single school over two sites, an opportunity is available to develop and appoint a skilled and dedicated school counsellor to work within the service.
