The States of Jersey Police Public Protection Unit have responsibility for managing all Domestic Abuse incidents that the Police attend. The Domestic Abuse Administrator is responsible for researching and presenting daily at the DA meeting on each DA incident that has occurred in a 24 hr period to ensure that appropriate safeguarding is identified and put in place. The DA Administrator also identifies and puts in place immediate safeguarding plans, which involve daily planning and co-ordination with partner agencies. The DA administrator holds responsibility for ensuring agreed decisions and actions are accurately recorded and subsequently completed.
