This is an opportunity to join the ‘Podiatry Bank’ on a zero hours contract. There can be times when the department is trying to cover staffing in times of difficulty, for example due to staff sickness. There can be other opportunities where extra cover is needed if there is some short term funding for increased staffing. The type of work and rate of pay will depend on experience, and the zero hours contract staff will often work in a relatively supported area, to backfill a more senior member of staff to cover more specialised work.
